Make your own custom bucket hat in this 2-day workshop hosted in the RDC Prototype Lab!

Purchase of this workshop ticket covers the attendence and material fees for participating in our Building Bucket Hats workshop.

The workshop will be lead by CSU graduate student Payton Gonzales. Attendees will learn how to take measurements, adjust sewing patterns, make a custom fabric print, and sew their own bucket hat.

The workshop agenda is as follows:

DAY 1: Saturday 2 - 4 p.m. (Offical date TBD)

• Taking measurements
• Design a custom fabric print
• Adapt a sewing pattern
• Fabric printing (via direct-to-fabric or dye-sublimation printers)

DAY 2: Sunday 2 - 4 p.m. (Offical date TBD)

• Heat setting fabric
• Pattern cutting (via laser cutter)
• Sewing (via industrial straight-stitch sewing machines and overlock serger)
• Optional embellishments
